Maturing in Purpose Part II

Maximizing your potential

Synopsis of Bible Study 01/16/23

Delivered by Bishop Walker

Potential is what you are capable of doing, zbut haven’t done yet. It is ability lying dormant waiting to be released. There are many countless stories where children were trapped under a car or something heavy and their parents, although they were at best 4′ 11” and 125lbs, were able to lift the car off of their kid in that particular moment. The potential was there lying dormant all the time. God will create situations that will cause that which is lying dormant to come to surface. This is why we can’t complain. Some of the situations God allowed, made stuff to come to surface that was lying dormant inside of you.

You have to know that there are hindrances that prevent what is inside of you from coming to the surface. Some of them are:

  1. The last successful project– This can be a hindrance to you. You may feel tired for example after graduating from school, when all the time you had a Master or Doctrinal degree inside you. You are too busy celebrating past success and not tapping into your full potential.
  2. What others attempted, but failed – You doubt your potential based off of the potential and failures of other people.
  3. You become consumed with your own problems – You become consumed by a lack of adequacies, bad finances, or lack of abilities. Know that if it is God’s will, it’s his bill.
  4. We reject God’s representative – You reject who God sent to mentor you and help you to get to your promise.
  5. You are enslaved to traditional methods – You can get caught up in doing the same ole same ole. Move away from archaic ways. Don’t allow, the way you have always done something, to prevent you from walking in your full potential.

If it is in us, then we have to learn to look at ourselves the way God sees us.

We can’t get caught up in how other people see us. God recognizes your next level potential before you do. Gen 1:27 says we are made in the image of God. This means in spirit. God put enough of Himself inside of us and that makes us have the ability to produce like He does. You have the potential to literally speak into the atmosphere and make something where nothing exists (Genesis 1:27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.).

The worst insult to a daddy is for someone to say his kid doesn’t look anything like him. All dads want to know that they put their mark on their children. God is the same way, he wants to know that when you do things, you look like him. Psalms 139.14 says he molded you to be like him (Psalms 139:14
I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well.).

God says when he sees us, he sees an amazing finished product. God took his time and all the parts that were needed came with us. Just like a product from the store, batteries were included.

Jer 29:11 – God says he knows the thoughts that he has towards us. He sees our end, not our beginning. We are the one that gets caught up with the things that occur along the way. If we could see ourselves like he does, we would see our end just like God does (Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.).

God says he will not let us miscarry what he has put in us. Phil 1.6 – God is going to finish what he started in us, so we can’t quit (Philippians 1:6 being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;). This is why you can’t really run. When you leave a thing, you will end up coming right back to it. God sees us as his completed work.

What is available to me in God’s word

Rom 8:32 says If God gave us his son Jesus, he is going to give to us freely (32He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?). Every promise in God’s word is available in our lives.

Psalms 84:11 teaches us that if we walk upright, all of God’s promises are available to us (Psalms 84:11 For the Lord God is a sun and shield; The Lord will give grace and glory; No good thing will He with hold From those who walk uprightly).

Eph 3:30 – God is able to give me all the promises in his word when we are walking upright and as a result, when we ask for it, whatever we can imagine, God says he can still out do whatever we imagine (Ephesians 3:20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,) We have to live a life of diligence. God won’t just open the door, he will give you the building.

God’s word is a menu and that menu is inside of you, therefore, whatever you order is on the menu and God will give it to you and He will supersize it! If we don’t understand our potential, we will ask God for little stuff. We have to think about something that will blow our mind. You can’t be big if little got you!

Develop a life of diligence

Diligence is purpose, calculated pursuit of consistency, to hold your course with maximum sustained effort, based on our commitment to God. It is maximum sustained effort! When we get on a plane, we believe a maximum sustained thrust will get us off the ground at the end of the runway. Like this scenerio, many of us are good up the runway, but it takes diligence to take off. Diligence keeps us fruitful, faithful, and focused so we don’t fall off.

Prov 13:4 teaches that lazy people desire stuff (4The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing: but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat.). Lazy people are always working on stuff, but it never comes to fruition.

Prov 10:4 teaches that he who works a plan, God blesses (Proverbs 10:4nHe who has a slack hand becomes poor, But the hand of the diligent makes rich.). God does not promote triflingness. We don’t throw things together when we try to walk into our potential. We are diligent with our work. It is like a teacher saying on your report card, “I expect more from you”.

Prov 12:24 says If you are lazy, you will end up in forced labor (Proverbs 12:24 The hand of the diligent will rule, But the lazy man will be put to forced labor.). If you are diligent, you work forced labor with a different mindset. You know you will have your own place to run one day. We refuse to be in forced labor all our lives! You have the same potential in you as the person that owns the business that you work for.

Ecl 9:10 says we are going to die from this earth, so whatever you do, do it well (Ecclesiastes 9:10
Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in the grave where you are going.).

2 Chron 31:21 teaches that whatever Hezekiah did, he did it with all his heart (2 Chronicles 31:21 And in every work that he began in the service of the house of God, in the law and in the commandment, to seek his God, he did it with all his heart. So he prospered.). Whatever level you are on, you do the work diligently. Don’t treat it small just because it isn’t the level you want to be at. You’re not that person at the grocery store that just grimly says, “You got any coupons? or what do you want!? Whatever you do, do it right or don’t do it at all!

Making wise decisions will help bring the potential out of you

Many of us haven’t made wise decisions, but we aim to make it better.

Some things that influence our decisions

  1. Our flesh– This is how you feel, your carnal mind (what you think), satanic counsel (something’s telling me…), or the word (it is written…)
  2. WisdomJames 1:5 say if you lack wisdom ask God and he will give it to you (James 1:5
If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.). How many wish you could erase some of the decision you made in your life?

    1. Ask for wisdom in relationships – When you are about purpose, you relationships are import. 2 Cor 6:14 – What business does light have with darkness? (14Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?). 1 Cor 15.33 says evil corrupts good.( 33Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.).
    2. Prov 27:17 teaches us that iron sharpens iron (17Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.). You need people around you that inspire you to do your best. You don’t need to be with that person that is never doing anything and who is always about nothing.
    3. Wisdom financiallyProv 22.7 teaches that You have allowed yourself to get in debt trying to impress people who really don’t like you anyway (7The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender.). You can’t live out your full potential, because you are constantly in debt. We need to tithe too. This is good for your finances. Mal 3:10 teaches us that God will get your tithe one way or another (10Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.). If you fail to tithe, sometimes things around you will just start breaking down out of the blue. Then God will send a tithing technician to your house to fix it for you. God will get it one way or the other!
    4. Luke 6:38 reaffirms that it’s about giving (38Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.). It is about process. It is about wise decisions. Add up the stuff that broke down when you didn’t tithe and most of the time you will find that you would have been better off paying your tithes.
    5. Its about being connected spiritually – Who you are connected to spiritually, has a lot to do with where you are going. What you stand underis what you understand Jer 3:15 (15And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.) – God connects you to a Pastor and a word for your destiny. When God gives Pastors, it is because God knows where you are going. We know we are connected to right Pastor when we were praying about something and the Pastor starts confirming things for you with in his sermon and his teachings.

4 reasons you make wise choices

  1. Because you have to live with it.
  2. Because your choices effect the lives of innocent people.
  3. Because it will affect your Christian witness.
  4. Because it demonstrates to God, we can be trusted to manage kingdom resources.

How many of you in 2013, can say that you have made some wise choices so far this year?

Operate in Excellence

Excellence is paying attention to detail, that gives birth to superior performance. It causes maximized potential promotion into a life of one that gives praise to God.

Some people are allergic to excellence. Isa 1:17– Learn to do well (17Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.),1 Cor 14.40 – We must do things decent and in order (40Let all things be done decently and in order.). You can’t aspire to that which you have not been exposed to. Excellene attracts and must be pursued to please God.

It is our desire to achieve excellence. Excellence must outweigh the pain we experience from change or people might cause us to abort it.

When you operate in excellence, some people might think you are arrogant.

  1. An enemy to Excellence is comparison
  2. Compromise is that which is a “that will do” spirit. It is really settling.
  3. Corrupt communication- This is stuff you release in the atmosphere. It is cosigning on stuff that is not excellent.
  4. Inconsistency – You start out strong, but then you get flighty.
  5. Cheap mentality – Your wife asks you for a couple dollars and you pull out two dollars exactly. When you start rigging stuff up instead of fixing things right, this is another sign as well. Here you are trying to get out of the cost of things. You have to get delivered from this cheap mentality. You deserve the best you are able to do.

Produce to the glory of God

Potential is about the end or simply “to produce”. It is the product. It is the will of God for us to be productive and produce fruit, regardless to what we have done.

God then has to prune us

John 15:1-8 (1I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. 2Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.3Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.4Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.5I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.6If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.7If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.8Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.) – This scripture is saying Jesus is the true vine and his father is the gardener. Every vine that doesn’t produce, He cuts it off. Those that are producing he has to prune, to allow us to produce more. You had all this stuff in you, he had to purge us.

Verse 4 says, You can do nothing outside of a relationship with Him. He is the vine a we are the branches. Try, but you can’t do it without him. If you want to do it your way, you will be cast out as a branch and you will begin to wither. As a result, you will cast into forced labor, left in the hands of man instead of the hands of God. When they get through using you hup, they will burn you up and throw you away. If you abide with Him, whatever you desire, it will be done unto you. By this we mean, the Father is glorified, because you produce fruit and look like Jesus.

Story:

Bishop explains that when he was 7, he stood in church doing his Easter speech. Bishop explains that he knew his speech, but his knees buckled. When it was time for him to do his speech, he stood before the crowd and said, “I forgot my words”. The strange thing was he wasn’t ridiculed. He was instead put into an environment where his potential was realized. He was motivated and encouraged. Because he was put into an environment that nurtured him instead of ridiculing him, Bishop is able to stand before us today. God was going to complete the work He started in him. In you is this amazing capacity, to write a book, write some songs, and many other ideas. People say that you can’t do that, but you knew it was in you. You just need somebody to motivate you and push it out of you, but you got to do it (the work).

You can do all things through Christ that strengthens you, but you have to see what is inside of you. The key here is diligence. We honestly believe that the only difference is that they tapped into their potential. We have to see ourselves much greater than what we compare ourselves to. If you can get the right folk around you and push that potential out, eyes have not seen nor have heard the things nor has it entered into the hearts of man what God has for you! Declare that from this day forward, we will not let anything hinder our potential from coming forward! From this day forward, we believe God is positioning us to blow our mind.

Maturing in Purpose

Maximizing your potential

Synopsis of Bible Study 01/09/13

Delivered by Bishop Walker

It is critical for every believer to work through purpose. Some people work through it and think they got it, but they don’t. Purpose can be, elusive. Understanding it is rough. You think you got it, then you hit a brick wall. You spend time getting to it just to find out it that this isn’t it (what you thought was purpose). You got to know that God always has a plan for your life.

When you look at the church of Ephesus, you will learn that they were a church about doing things. They thought by doing good works and good deeds, they were automatically saved. Paul explains that this doesn’t make us saved. In Eph 2:9, he teaches that we are not saved by works but grace(8For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9Not of works, lest any man should boast). It is not about works or what you do, it is about Calvary that saved you

In verse 10, we drop anchor (10For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them).

Paul declares that we are his workmanship

God crafted or made you to align with his purpose for your life and it is only possible through a relationship with Jesus Christ revealed to you in relationship, though it didn’t start there. God crafted you to line up with what he already preordained for our life. We are a piece of a puzzle called purpose and until we fit, the puzzle doesn’t look right.

What is purpose?

It is the original intent of a thing. The purpose is defined by the maker of a thing or in other words defined only by the mind of the maker.

God is the manufacturer and we are the product that has been manufactured. If people don’t understand the purpose of a thing, they will abuse a thing. So people who don’t understand that the manufacturer made you for a purpose, don’t know how to handle you. You came with a manual and that manual is the bible. If they don’t treat you according to the manual, they don’t handle you according to purpose. Your purpose is defined by the manual. You came created with a warranty . It was a lifetime manufacturer’s warranty. Whatever goes wrong in your life, as long as you go to the manufacturer, he can handle it at no charge. If you try to go to anyone else trying to get it fixed, you find that they will not cover it.

The manufacturer, God, has made us his workmanship. When God made us, he took his sweet time. Before the foundations of the world, he made us. God says, before he formed you in the mother’s womb, he knew you. You are a spiritual being occupying a physical body, so the only way that you can understand purpose is that you see yourself as a spirit being. This means that you need to connect in the spirit to understand your purpose.

Often, much like the church of Ephesus, focus on what we do. The church of Ephesus thought if they did this or that, they would be ok as it relates to being saved. Just like that church at Ephesus, we often associate purpose with what we do. What is it God that we are supposed to be doing? Know that it is not about what we do, it is about who we “be”… If we don’t be who He wants us to be, he will never trust us to do what he wants us to do. The problem is we got a lot of people doing, but not “being”.

Can you truly say you are doing what God wants you to do? Those of you that know what it is that God wants you to do, but feel you can’t step into it, know this: When you are willing to be what God wants you to be, when you manifest the “be”, God will open up an opportunity for you to do. Maybe the door to do is not open, because you haven’t been “being”. So don’t rush the do. Purpose is tied to who you “be”.

How does that look (purpose)?

We are created with a purpose. We go through life frustrated, because we don’t realize that we are God’s workmanship. Know first, that you are not an accident. God wanted you to get here. He wanted you to exist for a reason. Why? It’s because he had a plan and purpose for your life. What is it? We Were created to know God.

Two things that are of note in that verse:

  1. You are not an accident – God wanted you to exist and occupy space for a reason, because he had a plan and purpose for your life. What is it? We were created to know God. Do you know how many people who are doing, but they really don’t know God?
  2. Your first requirement is to know God the manufacturer, to know who has created you, and to know who has called you through Jesus Christ.

In John 14:6 Jesus says I am the way the truth and the life, no man comes to the father but through me (10Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.). John 3:3 says, God says no one can see the kingdom unless he is born again (3Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God). This means then we must be born again.

How does purpose manifest?

We can’t know purpose outside a relationship with Jesus Christ.

What does being “born again” mean? This means our purpose existed before our flesh and tissue came together. Before we were embryos in our mother’s belly, we existed. Our spirit was with God. God knew our purpose before the foundations of the world. He knew the right moment to let us be born from our mother.

We came out of our mother’s flesh, unaware of the purpose God had for our lives. As we were born in the flesh, cross pollinating with other flesh and carnality, regardless of oppositions and social pressure, our purpose if we are not careful, all of a sudden becomes all the things that has nothing to do with the original intent of what we were born to do. We allow people to tell us they like this or that and all of a sudden we go down these paths that have nothing to do with what we were born to do.

How do we know what we were born to do? When we are born again, it is inviting the spirit back into us. It is saying Holy Ghost or Christ, come into me or my life and reveal to me, what you have done at the beginning of our existence. Therefore, we don’t make decisions out of our flesh. It is an informed decision born in the Spirit by His word. Know then that we are on projectory toward purpose, because we are saved.

Now our relationship with God is right. Now because we are saved, the more we want to know about God. The more we know about God, the more He reveals why we are here.

How many of you ever been in a relationship? Have you ever dated? There are things that are natural in this process. Dating is saying, I want to get to know you and as a result,  we want a way to communicate with you. We want to talk on the phone and etc…, we want to go out, and we want to spend time in your presence. We just would like to get to know you. We come to each other’s house, but why? It is because we want to get to know you. God then, in like manner wants to know, can we talk? Can He get to know us? God says can we spend time together? God wants to know can your drop by his house? When you were dating, you would come over your girls/mans house no matter what. Why ? Because you wanted to get to know them. Your slogan was, ” Nothing you can say can keep me away from my girl/my guy”. When it comes to God however, you say, “It’s raining outside or it looks like snow” and then you don’t show.  If you can’t say amen, just say ouch! If you want to get to know Him, you got to be willing to spend time with him and be willing to drop by His house.

Phil 3:10 says that I might know him in fellowship (10That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;). Fellowship is translated from the Greek word, 2842. koinonia koy-nohn-ee’-ah which means suffering. In other words, it is through experimental knowledge that we know God. It is the things that God let us suffer through that makes us know him. No matter what you read in a book or what anyone else tells you, know that you don’t know God until you experience some stuff.

A part of your purpose is when you take those experiences as part of the journey towards experiencing purpose in your life. What we experience is tied to our purpose Ex- We are in relationship with Jesus Christ, so everything that happens has to be tied to our purpose. In other words, and we know that all things work together for good for those who are called according to his purpose. This means if God allowed it, then it’s got to bless us. So when you go through things, you realize that it has nothing to do with where we are, but instead where God is taking us.

Story: God gave me dream that showed a piece of glass. It was like a window, we could see right through it. Weight was put on it and it broke. God showed the same piece of glass in the dream and weight was put on it as well, but this glass didn’t break. God told me that this glass had been tempered. It has been through the fire (or a process) and its purpose had come to fruition. Its purpose was to hold heavy stuff. You want to settle for being something to look at, but God is trying to get you to carry some heavy stuff. You have no idea of the things that are in store for you down the road!

Things you should know

  1. You were created to know God.
  2. You were created to grow in the gifts of the spirit -This is important because your attitude and outlooks are important. Lots of people do (work allegedly for God), but are mean and hateful. We have all encountered hateful ushers, preachers and choir members. This comes from people who are not operating in the fruits of the spirit. Why would God trust you to walk in purpose when no one can stand you. You can be notorious in your career, but you attitude kills it. Operate in the fruits of the spirit.
  3. It is about character-This is a display of godly values on a day to day basis. Character is anchored by integrity and maintained in adversity. Do you remember the fruits of the spirit? Gal 5:2223  says 22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law). When our love manifests, God will push you into a position where you have to love the unlovable. You got to learn to love people, or your purpose won’t come to pass. Jesus tried to teach this to the disciples when he said, “You will be hated of men for my sake”. Jesus was loved and hated in two different periods. They cried hosanna on Thursday when he entered the city, but on Friday, the same people said, “Crucify him!”  Jesus was simply tied to purpose!
  4. Faithfulness-Our ability to be faithful in matters of life is honored – Many of us are so flighty. In January you can’t get treadmill at the gym. You have to wait and wait, but in February, all the treadmills are empty, because of flighty people.
  5. Self control – This is discipline or the ability to remove anything that is detrimental to our purpose. In purpose, you don’t waste time. Our purpose often doesn’t come to pass, because we don’t have discipline.
  6. Your purpose was created to spread the gospel. God says, he will not take you anywhere you won’t take him. Many people have got to the platform and never thanked God for the blessing of them getting there. If you won’t tithe on a scratch off, why would God trust you to tithe on the Powerball or any other kind of money?
  7. Matt 28  says go and make disciples (18And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.19Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen). All of you go to jobs and campuses and we are supposed to share God wherever we go. You don’t have to open the bible all the time and spook people with it, but your ought to be willing enough to open up conversation and when opportunity come, be willing to explain or to allow your life to be an witness for God. If one person comes to Christ because of you,  ought to be your goal for this year 2013.
    1. 6. Every test you have ought to be a testimony.  Rom 1:16 says  we will share God wherever we go (16For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.). We want people to know about Jesus. Don’t invite me if you don’t want to know about Jesus! You were created with talent that ought to be used for the glory of God.
    2. You have talents that ought to be used – Romans 12:4-8-Whatever talents you have ought to be used for God’s glory(4For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office: 5So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another. 6Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith; 7Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching; 8Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness).
      1. 1 Cor 12:27 teaches us that the right hand can’t over look the left (20But now are they many members, yet but one body.21And the eye cannot say unto the hand, I have no need of thee: nor again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.22Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are necessary:). Everyone wants to be a major part of the body and not the little part, but notice when you hit the little toe, the whole body gets to memo. The little toe represents the people behind the scenes. Know that it takes all positions to make everything work. How can the hear without the sound man or how can you feel welcomed without the greeters at the door?
      2. Ex-Bishop Walker says he wonders why God gave Royce (the church organist) all the voice and not him. God said to Bishop that it is because he knows that the voice would hinder Bishop’s preaching. God says Bishop would sing your way out of a sermon instead of preaching it. Know that together all the gifts work perfectly to make a perfect Ministry. Stay in your gift, because it will make room for you.
    3. Don’t downplay what you do. Some people in the pews can sing all the songs the choir sings, but they won’t join the choir. Be willing to take your place and use your gift.
    4. You were created to be glory to God – Isaiah 43:6-7 says everything you do must be for Gods glory (6 I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth; 7Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him). Don’t put together mess. God will not get the glory by you showing up to work late and leaving early.
    5. God created you to praise him. In everything praise God! Praise is a deliberate act to empower you to stand while you believe what you believe to come to pass. If you be who you be, you will do what you be, but if you do and not be, when things change you won’t do. Praise releases our purpose from every demonic hindrances. If we praise God, it comes from being.

If you would read Acts 16, you will find that Paul and Silas was being who they were called to be. They were evangelizing from town to town. There was a a woman in Lydia who sold purple cloth. She was somewhat of an entrepreneur. She got saved through Paul and Silas’s ministry and so did her house. Paul and Silas kept going. There was another girl they encountered that had a spirit of fortune telling and her wonders made a lot of money for her owners. As a result Paul and Silas were thrown into prison. They found themselves in a situation. Paul and Silas were talking about Jesus before getting locked up. They were being who they were and when the situation changed, they kept being who they be. Their doing was tied to their being, so they were going what they be. The others in Prison heard them singing praises to God. If what you go through stops you from what you  are doing, then what you were doing was never purpose. Keep doing your purpose as you go through, because as Paul and Silas continued to operate in purpose (ministering), everyone’s chains came off. The same anointing that was on them before they went to jail, was on them while in jail. Our purpose is so awesome, the same thing will happen for us! Don’t worry about being relocating, because wherever you go, be who you be and make it do what it do! In him we move and do and have his being!
