1. Dedicates his children to God- He realizes that his children are gifts from God.
2. He teaches his children to fear the Lord and turn away from evil and all unrighteousness.
3. He protects his children from ungodly influences- Know that Satan is out to destroy your children.
4. He establishes his children in the church. – Their ought not be a choice whether your children get up and go church.
5. He will encourage his children to remain separate from this world – Telling them sex before marriage is wrong is one example.
6. He will teach his children the importance of being saved so they will be victorious in this life.
7. He teaches them that God has a purpose for their life.
8. He will instruct them of the importance of prayer and family devotion.
